Welcome to Old Ottawa South

Old Ottawa South is home to about 8,000 people. Our community is "contained" by the Rideau Canal to the north and the Rideau River on the south and east, and finally by Carleton University defining the west border. The area is known throughout the region as "Antique Row," due to the number of its specialty shops offering old furniture and decorative items.

Old Ottawa South is a terrific place to live whether you are young or old. We have an active Community Association organizing a number of programs and activities which run throughout the year with community members giving their time to act as coaches.

Our location in the heart of the city makes it an easy commute to many area businesses, entertainment and recreational facilities.
