urries are a great way to eat "healthy" and stay warm in the winter months. Curries can be added to vegetables, chicken of fish dishes as well as soups.

Curry powders vary from brand to brand and one can never be sure whether the memorable flavor enjoyed today will be recaptured again. The following is Hopewell Kitchens recipe.

CURRY POWDER

4oz coriander seeds

4oz turmeric ground

1oz fenugreek seeds

4oz ground ginger

4oz ground black pepper

1oz ground cardamon

1oz ground cinnamon

Place coriander and fenugreek seeds in a small skillet and toast over low heat until aromatic, a minute or two, being careful not to over roast. Add all ingredients and mix together. Store in an air tight container.
