CAPITAL DAYCARE CENTRE

he Capital Daycare Centre is a non-profit centre located at 1230 Bank Street in the Trinity Anglican Church. Volunteers and staff at the Capital Daycare Centre are thrilled to be part of the OSCAR family and bring to you our latest news.

Over the last month at the daycare, preschool and toddler groups enjoyed a visit from a doctor who allowed the children to explore a medical bag of goodies. The preschool group was wowed by a visitor who brought a boa constrictor and a crocodile!

We are now looking forward to celebrating spring. The staff and volunteers are working hard to ensure the children who spend their days at the centre have the very best facility to enjoy the new season.

We are looking to our neighbours to help us meet this goal by becoming a Friend of the Capital Daycare. We are asking for donations towards buying a new play structure for our yard.

Due to recent changes in safety regulations, the old structure had to be removed. The children currently have no structure to climb and explore on. For more information on how to become a Friend of the Capital Daycare, call 733-8208.
