recently heard that Church Hill hill near the old Fire Hall community centre has been sold to a developper and is going to be filed with boring ugly old houses soon.
Of course I don't live in Ottawa anymore but I did grow up there and have many fond memories of Church Hill. I guess it's true that you can'thold on to your past forever.
Strangers live in the house I grew up in and the Church Hill hill will soon be only a memory in the minds of a handfull of seniors. What's next, will they pave over the Rideau river? Now I understand why old people are so bitter.
