I was wondering if you have any information about when building is to start on the 4 townhouses that are to go up on Barton at the corner of Aylmer. I've heard construction was to start this summer, but no one I know has been able to confirm that. Can The OSCAR find out when construction will start? Thank you.
The OSCAR has been told the developer's permits were late coming back from City Hall because of an unusually busy season. Construction is scheduled to start later this month.
It should be noted the development company's CEO, Glen Luckman, came to the OSCA Board last year with his architect to obtain feedback from the community and ensure compatibility of design and resolution of resident's concerns. When the proposed Barton infill is complete, Mr. Luckman will be living in one of the units.
